We recently spent the day hanging out with Baltimore baroque pop ensemble Soft Cat on a Maryland horse farm, where they treated us to an intimate performance of a couple of their new songs.

From That Day to This: a packed multi-artist show curated by Rosemary Liss that tells a story about telling stories. May 19th at Gallery at 32nd and Chestnut, 3138 Chestnut Ave. Baltimore, MD 21211.
These 14 artists have created a body of work that draws on the intimacy of storytelling to show us our own modern world with a kind of new familiarity. From That Day to This features pieces from painters, sculptors, and printmakers working locally and internationally to retell our favorite stories from creation myth to urban legend. Gallery opening, 7-10 pm, features live acoustic music, and local food.
